COACHES SURPRISED WITH PLAYERS’ FORM

Russian hockey team held the last training session in Novogorsk yesterday ahead of departure to Vancouver.


Fourteen Russian KHL players and coaching staff made for Vancouver today. The senior coach of the team Igor Zakharkin commented on the last day of work in Novogorsk.

"Coaching staff is satisfied with all players from 23-men list and from reserves", underlined Zakharkin. "We examined players’ functional form and despite tough match schedule they feel all right".

"On the last day of our Moscow trainings we offered players conditions of the North American smaller ice hockey rinks. It’s surprising but everybody is perfectly ready now".
